AVA (AT YOUR DOOR)
- FILM by alina gozin’a

”Keep searching where I've never been. Every ending is a chance to begin. When my heart was empty you came along. To feel with a moment, to the moment was gone.” LOVE IS HERE by Caroline Vreeland.

New York 2020. A year none of us will forget. Boris waits in the back of a black town car outside a NYPD station for Ava.  On the ride home, Boris and Ava play out their unfortunate history and complex, complicated relationship as they quarrel over Teddy, the son they secretly share. As far as Teddy knows, Martin is his estranged father, and Boris is someone else entirely. Ava and Boris kept the fiction for Teddy, but it has come at a cost to both of them. When the car reaches Ava’s Upper East Side apartment building, she leaves Boris behind and walks alone into the building. The next morning Boris is revealed as her doorman.

As Ava and Teddy leave to face the harsh new day, Boris struggles to maintain their fiction and tell his son he loves him.
